I have become intimately familiar with Mr. Gorrell's work through the graduate thesis design studio and seminar I teach. Our thesis group examines the intersection of real estate, community, and economic development through a design lens.

I am especially taken by Armand's creative mind and varied work background which spans several key sectors. From real estate to housing, Armand has displayed a great ability to focus on relevant issues and identify the sometimes imperceptible role design plays in solving those issues.
